1Who we are

CODE HARBOR TECHNOLOGIES is the controller of the personal data described here. This policy explains what we collect when you buy from us or use your licence portal, why, and the choices you have.

2Information we collect

• Order details — your name, email address, billing country, the products you bought, amounts and dates.
• Payment information — handled by our payment provider. We receive a transaction reference and status, never your full card number or security code.
• Licence and account data — your licence key, the installations or devices it is activated on, and sign-in records.
• Technical data — IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device information, used for security and fraud prevention.
• Messages — anything you send us in support requests.

3How we use it

• To process and deliver your order and send receipts.
• To provide, activate and support your licence.
• To detect and prevent fraud and abuse of our checkout.
• To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
• To tell you about important changes to products you own. Marketing email is sent only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4Payment processors

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers who act as independent controllers for the payment data you give them. We currently use: Paddle. Their own privacy policies apply to that processing.

5Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business (payment processing, email delivery, hosting), with authorities where the law requires it, and with a buyer of our business if it is ever sold.

6Cookies

Our checkout and licence portal use essential cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms against forgery and remember your choices. They are not used for advertising.

7Retention

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically 7 years). Licence records are kept while the licence exists. Other data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

8Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), access is restricted to staff who need it, and secrets are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

9Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019, or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict its use. To exercise any of them, contact us using the details below. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

10International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

11Children

Our products are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

12Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
